Late last year, the Sente team sat down with the leadership team from Yildiz Holding, a global conglomerate that includes a number of internationally recognized food brands like Godiva chocolates and McVities biscuits, Ülker snacks, US brands such as Turtles and Flipz, as well as large-scale retail operations Sok & Bizim Toptan and a logistics business G2M Exper.
The outcome of that meeting was to define an international innovation scouting and investment program that could help the different brands and retail operations stay on top of a rapidly changing consumer base. Consumers are looking for "good for you" options and convenience in their daily snacking and in their grocery experience. They are engaging with brands and retailers in new ways.
Starting this week we will be working with an amazing set of international entrepreneurs from across Europe and Asia, as Phase 1 of a year-long program that aims to identify the top investment opportunities that could also be innovation opportunities for the business.
